Last week, I had a chance to visit the 1st grade class for the first time since they started school. The children welcome the few visitors with a song as you can see in the short video below.
The Jewish students were just coming back from a short holiday break, while the Palestinian students had been learning about Mahmoud Darwish, the well-known Palestinian poet. You can see a board created by the children below.
