Last fiscal year (2009/2010), 59% of our expenses were direct grants to support the educational programs of the Oasis of Peace; 19% were used for program-related services here in the United States (such as Outreach Activities). 12% were spent for fundraising expenses and 10% for administrative support. Please note that the IRS modified its way to calculate operating expenses this year and that fundraising and administrative expenses now reach a higher amount for all nonprofits (25% of combined fundraising and administrative expenses is now considered the threshold for reasonable expenses). We remain committed to keep our expenses at the lowest to ensure that as much money as possible goes to the "Oasis of Peace."
