Dear Friends,

After more than two weeks speaking to longtime and new friends we are back home in the “Oasis of Peace.” We enjoyed our time abroad immensely, and we will remember these days for a long time to come. We reached thousands of people in during our 58 speaking engagements and 20 media interviews conducted in Madison, Wisconsin, Chicago; New Jersey; Philadelphia; New York City; Cleveland; the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. As you look to bring Jews and Palestinians, Israelis and Arabs closer together, we hope that you will remember Neve Shalom/Wahat Al-Salam and our story of growing up together in this special community. We hope that you will remember us.

Thank you for making the tour a reality. We particularly want to thank the local supporters who made great efforts to make us feel at home.

We also want to thank you for the support you provide to us throughout the year. Without it, neither the village nor our lifelong friendship would be possible. Please continue to help grow this support by spreading the word of our special home.

We hope we succeeded in demonstrating the possibilities that Jews and Arabs can live together. We hope we were able to share our own hopes with you.
