The American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam is a member of the Alliance for Middle East Peace. ALLMEP is a coalition of 55 nonprofit organizations who promote people-to-people coexistence between Arabs and Jews, Israelis and Palestinians in the Middle East. Through ALLMEP, Americans from diverse religious, ethnic and political backgrounds can join together in support of real efforts to build lasting peace in the region.
ALLMEP furthers its mission through:
Opening dialogue to policymakers
Public events to support Middle East coexistence
Media outreach to raise the Middle East people-to-people profile
Increasing public and private resources for coexistence
Networking and capacity building to improve NGO impact.
The American Friends of Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salam participates in the Combined Federal Campaign. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
